No Photos Today

That's right, no photos, I haven't had a chance to download my photos yet. I haven't been posting like I should maybe because no one reads my blog. But I still enjoy posting and having a place to express myself. Well, last week DBF came home with a small wooden box that he got from one of the vendors that he works with. I was so surprised because I only mentioned to him once that I with I had something to put my knitting in. I am so unorganized because all of the yarn I have sits in a bag behind the closet door. So when DBF came in with the box I was so excited. I'll paint it and everything will be great! And my small stash will have a home. . Oh yea and about stash, I was uploading my yahoo photos to flickr and when I did a search for "yarn stash" I was floored. Some people have so much yarn!! I can only wish that I had that much yarn or that much money to buy yarn. How long does it take to get a stash that big? I looked over at my little box o' yarn with a frown. Where do they get so much yarn. I guess I am still kinda new to this. I am totally obsessed with knitting and fiber but I just don't have the room. Oh well I just be happy with my little box. I'll have pictures posted soon.

Lazy Sundays

Saturday was a good day. I went downtown to get my glasses repaired. and DBF also picked up a pair of senakers, and we walked around the park and did a little sight seeing. We went to Chipotle for burritos and took the bus home.

Our walk around the park was very nice. A new sculpture was done by a local artist. We haven't had a chance to see it until today. The legs are over 10 ft tall. I had a picture of me next to one of the legs, but the picture didn't come out so well.

I am also working on a new heel technigue for a pair of socks. The peasant heel. I am at the toe decreases and will start the heel soon. The different color yarn is scrap yarn the work as a place holder for the heel.

I used this tutorial for the peasant heel.
